Ms Noelene Kotschan

Ms Noelene Kotschan

Noelene established her own event management company, Sho-Sho-Lo-Za Marketing in 1995. With over 30 years’ experience in the industry, Noelene assisted in the organisation of conferences, launch functions, road shows and trade forums, both locally and internationally, counting among her clients many of South Africa’s largest blue-chip companies.

A pioneer in fundraising for CSR initiatives, Noelene has become an acknowledged leader in the industry.

In 2006 Noelene founded Cause Marketing Fundraisers and the initiative PinkDrive. PinkDrive is an indispensable, tangible breast cancer Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) powering mobile mammography units and an educational unit with the message that Early Detection Prolongs Lives.

The main aim of the programme is to provide women and men in various disadvantaged communities access to education, physical examinations and to learn how to do a breast self-examination.
Cause Marketing Fundraisers have launched sustainable campaigns which still to date raise millions of Rand for the charities which continue to run them.

Noelene holds the prestigious title of Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government awarded in 2019 and won the Gauteng Premier Excellence Awards – Health Delivery in 2020.
In her role as a fundraiser and cause marketer, it has become apparent to Noelene that it takes a mother to raise a child and women to uplift a nation. Noelene passionately feels that all South African women must stand together to create change. Her key lessons in life, which play a direct role in the way she does business, are to never give up, always look for the positive in a bad situation and to accept the challenge of change.
